Favorite TTF product: Texas Red Killers. They are heavy and cast well. You can use a lightweight jighead and still cast a mile, or you can use no weight for a slow sink.
Favorite place to fish: South Padre Island, Texas. I grew up here. The water is always clear and there’s plenty of sight-fishing. You never have to run  more than 10 miles to find fish.

Favorite TTF product: Killer Flats Minnow (mumpy glo). I’ve caught fish on this little bait in just about every condition I can think of – cold, hot, windy, calm, clear water and dirty water.
Favorite place to fish: Freeport, Texas. The marshes don’t receive a lot of pressure and the fish are big and dumb.

Hometown: I've been in Bay City, Texas, all my life. Been fishing Matagorda for 35 years.
Favorite TTF product: The Killer Flats Minnow on a TTF Reefwalker jighead is my favorite combination. It’s good for sightfishing in very shallow water. The Reefwalker will stand on its head when you stop reeling and keep the KFM off the bottom so the reds can see it better. I like to use this in the back lakes around San Antonio Bay when the fish are spooky.
Boat/Motor: The Majek Redfish line and Evinrude ETEC is one of the few boats that can access these shallow water lakes.
Tournaments fished: We’ve been fishing the redfish circuit since the first Redfish Cup came to Port Aransas, Texas. We won the first three IFA tournaments that came to Texas. We also won the Texas Redfish Series championship in its second year. We were Western Division team of the year in the FLW. We’ve had numerous Top-10 finishes throughout the years.
