NEW: TTF'S STINGRAY AND JELLYFISH FIRST AID KIT

TTF and StingMate have joined forces in the development of the new Stingray and Jellyfish Sting First Aid Kit. This kit includes everything you need to treat yourself or a fellow angler in the unfortunate event of a stingray hit or jellyfish sting until you can reach the doctor for further medical attention. Read on to see what's in the kit...
Each kit contains:
For stingray hits
- A pair of gloves
- A moist towelette for cleaning hands
- A gauze pad to help slow bleeding
- Hydrogen peroxide to help clean and sterilize the wound
- A pair of tweezers for spine and debris removal
- Antibotic ointment
- Adhesive bandages
- A heat pack that can be used to alleviate pain
- Elastic wrap for holding the heat pack in place
For jellyfish stings
- A 1-oz. spray bottle of jellyfish sting relief gel*
- A wooden scraper for removing gel and stinging nematocysts
- Hydrocortisone cream to relieve irritation
At just 12-inches tall and 6-inches wide this kit can be easily stowed in a boat, kayak, or, if you’re a walk-in wader, in your vehicle. The bag is completely waterproof and re-sealable, so it can double as an emergency ice pack. Look for the Stingray First Aid Kit on shelves at your favorite tackle store SOON!
*TTF's Jellyfish Sting Relief Gel is also available separately in a 4-oz. spray bottle. Simply spray the gel on the site of the sting and use a hard-edged object, like a credit card, to scrape the gel off. The gel bonds to the stinging nematocysts and pulls them from the skin when removed.
